Booking & Cancellation Policy

At Island Boy Concierge, we are committed to delivering seamless, personalized Bahamas experiences with the highest level of service. Because many of our experiences involve advance planning, reservations, and coordination with trusted local partners, the following booking and cancellation policies apply.

Reservation Requests

Submitting a booking inquiry or experience request does not guarantee availability.

All experiences, transportation services, charters, dining reservations, and event arrangements are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Island Boy Concierge before a booking is considered secured.

Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will receive a booking confirmation and payment instructions, where applicable.

Deposits & Payments

Certain services may require a deposit or full payment to secure reservations.

Depending on the experience, payment terms may vary and will be communicated during the booking process.

Reservations requiring deposits will not be considered confirmed until the required payment has been received.

Island Boy Concierge reserves the right to cancel unconfirmed reservations if payment deadlines are not met.

Customized Experiences

Many of our services are customized specifically for each client.

Once planning, reservations, or vendor commitments have been made on your behalf, certain fees may become non-refundable.

Any applicable cancellation terms will be communicated prior to confirmation.

Cancellation by Guest

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email.

Unless otherwise specified by the service provider, the following general policy applies:

More than 30 Days Before Service Date

Eligible for a refund of amounts paid, less any non-refundable deposits, third-party charges, or administrative fees already incurred.

15 to 30 Days Before Service Date

Partial refunds may be available depending on vendor commitments and reservations already secured.

14 Days or Less Before Service Date

Payments may be non-refundable due to commitments made with transportation providers, charter operators, venues, restaurants, and other partners.

Certain services may have stricter cancellation terms, which will be communicated during the booking process.

Changes to Reservations

Requests to modify dates, guest counts, itineraries, transportation, or experiences are subject to availability.

While we will make every effort to accommodate changes, additional charges may apply.

Changes requested close to the service date may be limited due to vendor restrictions.

Weather & Force Majeure

The Bahamas is a destination where weather conditions may occasionally affect outdoor experiences.

For the safety of our guests, certain activities including yacht charters, boating excursions, water sports, and outdoor events may be postponed, rescheduled, modified, or cancelled due to weather conditions.

Where possible, Island Boy Concierge will work with clients and providers to:

  • Reschedule the experience

  • Offer an alternative experience

  • Apply credits where permitted

Refund eligibility for weather-related cancellations will depend on the policies of the applicable service provider.

Island Boy Concierge is not responsible for losses resulting from weather events, natural disasters, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Third-Party Providers

Many experiences arranged through Island Boy Concierge are provided by independent third-party operators.

These may include:

  • Yacht charter companies

  • Transportation providers

  • Restaurants

  • Tour operators

  • Event venues

  • Accommodation partners

  • Activity providers

Certain providers maintain their own booking, cancellation, refund, and rescheduling policies.

By confirming a reservation, guests agree to comply with any applicable provider-specific terms.

No-Shows

Failure to arrive at the scheduled time or location may be considered a no-show.

No-shows are generally non-refundable.

Travel Delays

Guests are responsible for notifying Island Boy Concierge as soon as possible if flights, cruise schedules, or other travel arrangements are delayed.

While we will make reasonable efforts to adjust reservations where possible, additional fees may apply.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Trip cancellations

  • Medical emergencies

  • Weather disruptions

  • Travel delays

  • Lost or damaged belongings

Travel insurance may provide protection beyond the refund options available under this policy.
